specifically piping, gas/oil/water pipelines, The Adhesive is a key in ground/overhead performance characteristic coupled with the low and high density polyethylene backing. This kind of tape can be applied by hand or with a wrapping machine.
Specifications of tape
Anti-corrosion tape (Inner tape) Polyethylene inner tape is used as the base material which is coated by the liquid butyl rubber film, both of which are pressed and compounded. Usually the film is thinner than the one of anti-corrosion tape while the adhesive layer is much thicker.
